Better Version
I would love to be a part in this workshop. I grew up with Willie’s “dancing and pushing us to the next level”. This is where I learned to become a better version of myself, embracing who I am and utilising my talents. I want to grow, develop, be challenged and pushed to the next level. It’s where I learn about myself and I want to keep building on the person I have come to be. I am unique, talented and I love being on stage because it is where I am alive. I can dance, play piano and sing.

My Lewe

Eager
I am eager to dive into this enchanting workshop, where the magical realm of musical theatre awaits me. I aspire to refine my vocal and acting skills, and to weave a web of connections. A true individualist, I am also mastering the art of orchestral percussion. My musical repertoire includes Grade 3 violin (Trinity), basic flute skills, and the rhythmic art of tap dancing. Under the guidance of Alida vd Walt, a seasoned opera singer, I honed my singing talents during my school days.

A Leader
I believe this program will provide me with a valuable opportunity to showcase my talents, hone my skills, and gain exposure to the performing arts industry. My goals for participating in this program include improving my musical abilities, developing my confidence and stage presence, and connecting with like-minded individuals who share my passion for the arts. As the leader and soloist of the Bloemfontein Children’s Choir, I believe I have the skills and talent to make a meaningful contribution to the program. Additionally, my participation in various sports and artistic activities has taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and hard work. I see myself as a highly individual and artist, with a unique perspective and voice. I possess special skills in piano, netball, art and craft, and am confident in my ability to perform solo. My experience as a leader and soloist in the BCC has also given me the skills and confidence to perform in front of large audiences. In conclusion, I believe that the Moments Performance Program would be an excellent opportunity for me to develop my skills and grow as a performer. I look forward to the possibility of participating in this program and showcasing my talents to a wider audience.

Hacer creativo
I would like to refine my craft and the workshop will be a unique opportunity to work with professionals and other artists in the pursuit of our dreams of working in the music industry. To use this opportunity to learn from the best and to use this knowledge to become the best performer that I can be. With my experience in various choirs, I can work well in large groups as well as smaller groups and duos. I would also like to cultivate my skills as an individual artist and I hope that this workshop will give me the tools to do so.
Riechard
To Flourish
I aspire to cultivate my artistic abilities and glean wisdom from the most talented individuals in Bloemfontein. My aim is to harmonize my IT career with my passion for singing, creating a well-rounded life. While I consider myself a proficient vocalist, I am eager to delve deeper into the art. Although my piano skills from high school have waned, I yearn to rekindle my prowess beyond basic chords.

Ellane’ is a performer, musician, vocal coach and musical director for many different productions. She started singing lessons at the age of 5 and continued with that until the age of 18. She is the daughter of famous South African singers, Phillip and Ella Kotze and started performing nationally and touring the country with her parents from the age of 5, entertaining audiences for years, every weekend. Her love for music and the arts started at a very young age and she could always be found singing, painting or playing piano. At the age of 12, Ellané opened for Theuns Jordaan and Leanie May as a soloist at the annual PBS Osbraai event in Bloemfontein. She grew up on big stages, having the honour of performing on the Sand Du Plessis theatre stage for the first time at the young age of 13. In 2015 Ellane was working at a vocal academy in Bloemfontein until 2017 when she finally decided to open her own. In the same year, she was honoured enough to be asked to lead a vocal workshop at the Free State Arts Symposium. Ellané has also served as an adjudicator for various vocal competitions for institutions such as the Musicon and many more. In the same year, Ellané was asked to perform with the Free State Symphony Orchestra, under the composer, Alexander Fokkens in their “Gamical” concert, celebrating the music of video games. Ellané is also the vocal coach of Sunica Bruwer, winner of “Begin Sing” season 3 on KykNet. When it comes to music, Ellané believes in artists embracing their individuality and helping young performers to master their skills in singing and performing, whilst helping them develop a true respect and love for their craft.
